The
Why

Ahoy there student, parent of student, I want to chat about something close to my heart.
Growing up, my parents believed in the 'starving artist' myth. They thought if I pursued art, I'd struggle financially. So, I took a different path, spending, and paying for years for a degree I didn't love. Deep down, I knew art was my calling.
After college, I finally followed my passion, studying art and design in NYC. It was exhilarating and challenging.
Fast forward, I owned a boutique ad agency for decades. I was able to work abroad in an ad agency as an Art Director. I lived a life full of creativity and purpose. I even pursued painting on the side, later earning an MFA. My parents got it wrong: artists can thrive. And today, there are so many more ways to thrive in the visual arts than there were then—and the field is ever-growing! But more than that—I was fulfilled. I loved my work. That is what I hope for my kids: a life they find meaningful — and financially rewarding. And I know that is what you, parents, hope for your kids.
That's what you should expect and plan for your future.

That is the WHY of ACE. And getting you to that life of reward is my mission and my passion.

The world of visual arts is vast and full of opportunity. I'll bet you couldn't guess what half the options for you in the arts even are! Technology has expanded choices and continues to grow. And technology allows fine artists to sell their work in places all over the globe, in ways not dreamed possible before. And AI will create new jobs, new possibilities.

Imagine confidently choosing an art career direction, feeling excited and supported; being able to discuss your future with more clarity, knowing you're on a path that combines your love for art with solid earning potential. See yourself glowing with enthusiasm, free from the fear of financial instability, and feeling both pride and relief.

Parents: Your child can map out a future in art, confident and supported by you.
Trust their passion, and you'll see the incredible paths they can carve out for themselves.
